Includes Name, Program, Certification and Renewal Dates, along with status of certification, to keep you informed of your options..
The CIL Directory is an important tool that supports the efforts of all Canadians involved in the sport of pole and aerial dance, as well as it's fitness education standards. Access to this directory will provide all instructors with the opportunity to promote their pole instruction and advertise certifications possessed, as well as provide information to the market for listings of individuals who are are qualified to operate within the PFIC Canada Scope of Practice in their designation.
The CIL Directory has been developed by the Pole and Aerial Dance for Fitness Commission of Canada to support its mission of enhancing the experiences of all Canadian pole dancers through quality instruction, and providing a listing of previously and currently PFIC Canada certified instructors in their area, providing them with information to make an informed choice.
All Instructors with a PFIC Certificate Number are listed by province in the CIL directory.
Legend of Certifications for PFIC Canada:
PFIC-1 : Pole Fitness Instructor Certificate Basic Level 1
AYF-1 : Aerial Yoga Fitness Basic Level 1
Lyra-1 : Aerial Hoop/Lyra Module 1
Legend of PFIC Canada Certification Status:
Valid : Currently Certified and/or Renewal Completed with 80% Pass of recertification exam. Complying with standards and requirements as per PFIC Canada Code of Ethics.
Invalid : Renewal Not Completed. Either no attempt or failure of recertification exam.
Revoked : Certification and rights provided by PFIC Canada have been revoked. Failure to comply with PFIC standards and guidelines of safe practice.
